R-E-S-P-E-C-T

One thing I have come to learn as that everyone is teaching us that if we want respect we better show it. That if teenagers want to be heard if we want the respect we crave for we have to first show it. Isn’t this just a never ending circle. Adults inform us that they want respect that that’s all they ask from us. But where is the respect in return? When I pip in my idea why am I shut down just cause im “a stupid teenager.” Why is it when I know someone is wrong and I point it out I am written off as having no respect, but if an adult makes the same observation it’s no big deal. All I have to say to those adult who claim that teenagers show no respect is WHY DON’T YOU SHOW SOME TO US YOURSELF!
